We did it.. YEAH
Today Lucky had his well baby check up-30 month (2 1/2 year).. Most of the time this isn't needed but since Lucky has always been in the low side, the doctor and I decided we would do a 2 1/2 year check up..At his 2 year check up (which was more 25 1/2 month) we dip below is curve, weighing about 24 lbs (8%) and height of 32 inches (2%)..
DRUM ROLL PLEASE....
Today, Lucky's weight was 28 lbs, 27% .....
His height was 36 inches.. Nope that isn't a typo.. He grew 4 inches and now is 42%....
Not only did we get that great news.. Today while waiting in the MD's office, Lucky said, his name for the first.. Well the first time we understood it.. Not only did he say that but he said My name is Lucky.. He says it so cute too.. He kept saying it over and over again.. He even say it for Daddy and some other family members when we talked to them.. Which as many of you know, you normally can't ever get your kid to say things like that when you want them too..
Gramma is currently visiting us so Mommy is getting a nice break.. We aren't planning as many project this year as we did last.. This is more vacation time for Gramma.. She is still recovering from her 2 surgeries so we are taking it easy.. But I am still putting her to work as our Nanny.. LOL.. But she is LOVING it..
We are also working again on Potty training.. Since Gramma is here to help.. We have been doing really great this week.. He gets a new car if he goes pee pee in the potty.. And he LOVES CARS...
Well just wanted to update everyone on our exciting news today..
