Grandma Bucky came down to see us the day after Christmas.. We weren't sure if she was going to make it since South Dakota had just had a blizzard and most everything had been shut down for 2-3 days.. But she was determined to get here so she headed to the airport anyway in hopes that she could get on the plane.. They (Papa Ray and Grandma Bucky) hit white out conditions on the way to the airport but that wasn't going to stop her.. She got to the airport only to find out it wasn't open still but hoped to be open at 9 (her flight was at 8:30).. There was only two planes there due to the airport being closed for several days.. But they were told that if the weather let down some (high winds) they were would try to get this plane out..
Well at 10 I got a call that it was a go.. Grandma was going to make it after all.. She was just one of a about 20 that got out that morning and possible that day to fly out that day.. We had someone watching out for us that day to help get grandma to us..
Lucky just adores his Grandma Bucky (we have no idea why he calls her that but that is her name).. They had a sleep over in his room, painted Micky Mouse and Minnie Mouse, made cookies..Grandma also wanted alone time with him so she kicked me out of the house on Wednesday.. So I was forsed to go to lunch with my good friends
and then go see the movie New Moon.. It was great..
She had so much fun with him that she kicked us out again on Saturday.. Luck and I went to see Avitar 3D.. It was great.. The movie was packed but we had left early enough that we had great seats..
Grandma Bucky was here for a week but it only seemed like a few days.. We had so much fun with her and it was so nice to have her here.. She is always so helpful and wonderful.. Mom I will miss you and can't wait to you come back.. Love You Very Much.. Thanks Again..
